Identification
Fairly big moth reaching a wingspan of up to 7 cm, usually less. Body entirely bright yellow with black edge on each abdomen segment. Wings mostly bright yellow with dark spots. Forewing tips are black with bluish-white spots.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from eastern India to South China, south to Malaysia, Borneo and greater Sundas. Subspecies found in mainland southeast Asia. Found in woodlands, tropical forests and grasslands.
