Identification
The species reaches up to 11 cm in body length. Bright green coloration, sometimes with a bluish tinge on head. Dark eye-ring and wide dark tympanum. Short crest on back of head and neck.

Range and habitat
Nicobar Islands and from South Myanmar and Thailand to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines. Lives in tropical forests, mostly on edges, also found in suburban parks.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species hasn’t been assessed but seems to be reasonably common in its wide range. It’s declining on Singapore because of competition with introduced Calotes versicolor.
