Identification
The biggest species of its genus, reaching a total length of 9 cm. Blue-grey coloration on body with longitudinal black bands running from head to tail. Head has a yellow coloration. Reddish belly.

Range and habitat
This species is endemic to Tanzania and found on the coastline, north to the Kenyan border. Lives in coastal forests, usually on thick tree trunks, sometimes near human settlements.

CITES : Not listed
Status : This species hasn’t been studied in the wild and its current status in unknown. Its range is small and the species is still targeted for international trade.
