Identification
Leg span up to 13 cm, body length is about 6.5 cm, smaller for males. Brown tarantula with silvery-grey sheen. Two white-beige bands on legs, becoming a single band then vanishing. Leg segments beige, clear brown hairs.

Range and habitat
Subspecies found in Malaysia, Singapore and Sumatra. Species widespread in South East Asia, from Sri Lanka to Greater Sundas and Philippines. Lives in a wide variety of habitats, from forests to grasslands and cities.

Status : This species is very common in the wild and has a huge range. It hasn’t been assessed yet.
