Identification
Large sea anemone reaching a diameter of 17.5 cm for a column height of 30 cm. Tentacles are arranged in six rows on the outside of the oral disc. Coloration dull to bright green with no stripes on oral disc.

Range and habitat
Eastern Pacific Ocean coasts, from Alaska to California, rarely to Panama. Found around sandy and rocky shores, where cold water currents occur, to 30 m.

Status : The specie’s status hasn’t been assessed but it looks like this species is common to locally very common in its range.
