Identification
Adults can grow to 80 cm in length. Very small ridge between slightly flattened snout and red eyes. Coloration is bright green to olive green with irregular dark red to red-brown blotches all over body.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-east Asia and has a very small range in southern peninsular Thailand, in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Lives in evergreen forests, in rocky areas and humid valleys, up to 700 meters.

IUCN RED LIST : VULNERABLE
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species has a restricted range and its populations are fragmented. It is vulnerable to habitat loss and overcollected for the pet trade.
