Identification
Silvery bill with black tip, black line from bill to eye, broad white eyering, broken at front. Plumage olive-green on head, wings, back and tail, underside light grey, throat and belly light yellow.

Range and habitat
Subspecies found in south Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia and highlands of Sumatra. Occurs in submontane primary and secondary forests, plantations and clearing edges, to 2000 m.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not Listed
Status : The species is still common but intense deforestation occurs all around its range. Sumatran populations (if taxonomically valid) are likely endangered by unsustainable trapping for trade.
