Identification
The species grows to 4,4 cm in length. Body coloration mostly dull yellow to cream-yellow with numerous bright orange to pink-orange dots (forming broken lines) on flanks and on dorsal and caudal fins. Eyes circled with orange.

Range and habitat
The species is only found in the western Pacific Ocean, around the coasts of Philippines and Indonesia. Its range has yet to be studied. Lives in reef areas (both rocks and corals), near caves and overhangs.

CITES : Not Listed
Status : This species has a small range but does not seem to be declining at this time. Habitat loss needs to be monitored.
