Identification
Body length of 153 cm, shoulder height of 94 cm, weight of 81.5 kg. Large gazelle with long curved and ringed horns. Coloration is beige-brown, slightly darker on upper and lower flanks. White rump with black edges. Black lines on face.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in eastern Africa, from the Kenya rift valley to North Tanzania in the Serengeti. Mostly occurs in dry plains (woodlands, grasslands, savannas).

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : This species is still considered safe but most of its populations are now decreasing. It could be uplisted to a threatened category soon.
