Identification
The biggest Caribbean tube worm species, reaching a body length of 13 cm and a fan diameter of 10 cm. Double circular crown of radioles which are brown with white spotting forming conspicuous lines.

Range and habitat
Tropical western Atlantic ocean, from Florida and Bahamas to Brazil and through Caribbean sea. Lives in coral reefs, sandy and gravelly bottoms, down to 20 meters.

Status : This species hasn’t been assessed by the IUCN Red List. It’s currently common to fairly common in many part of its range.
