Identification
The species can grow to 6.4 cm in wingspan. Black body covered with white dots. Wings beige-orange with rows of black spot. Hindwing with broad black margin spotted white. Underside clearer with larger white dots in black wing margin.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-east Asia, from India and Sri Lanka to Vietnam, south to northern Malaysia. Lives in grasslands, scrubland and bushy area

CITES : Not listed
Status : The species hasn’t been assessed but it has a huge range and remains globally common, even close to cities.
