Identification
Adults can grow to a wingspan of 6.5 cm. Upperside whitish blue with a row of dark ocelli and broad black edge. Underside light brown with large chocolate-brown-edged light green patch. White and black spots near wing edges.

Range and habitat
Subspecies found from Thailand to Peninsular Malaysia. Species occurs from Thailand to Singapore, east to central Indonesia. Lives in lowland forests and adjacent suburban parks.

Status : The species’ status isn’t assessed yet. It has a large range but could suffer from deforestation because of its limited adaptability outside forests.
