Identification
Adults can reach a wingspan up to 7 cm. Upper side of wings entirely white with dark brownish-black broad edge. Underside of forewings is white with dark brown edge, underside of hindwings is bright yellow with broad dark brown edge.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from India and Sri Lanka to south China, south to Malaysia and Indonesia. Subspecies found in Malaysia and Sumatra. Lives in all kinds of forests and secondary growth, mostly on lowlands.
