Identification
The species grows to a wingspan of about 7 cm, rarely more. Body is robust and broad, the abdomen segmented and ending in a conical tip. Cephalothorax green, Upperside of wings mottled green, pink and white, underside greenish.

Range and habitat
The species is found in Africa, most of south Asia southwards to Singapore and in Hawaii. Some populations migrate to south Europe in summer. Often found near rivers where oleander is growing.

Status : The species’ status hasn’t been assessed but it seems to be locally common and suffers from no threats at this time.
