Identification
Very large species growing to a wingspan of 10 cm. Underwing beige peppered with black spots and with conspicuous costae looking like leaf-structure. Upper side white with faint black spot. Upper corner bright orange edged black.

Range and habitat
This subspecies occurs in south Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, Species found from India to China and Taiwan, south to Indonesia and Philippines. Lives in forest clearings or edges, woodlands, suburban parks.

Status : The species has a large range and seems to be common in many places. It currently faces no known threats.
