Identification
This species is relatively small, reaching a wingspan of 4.5 cm. Unmistakable. Long black and white tail on hindwings. Body white, yellow and black. Wings show black green and beige barring on underside. Upperside black and white.

Range and habitat
This subspecies occurs in peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. Species found from India to south China, south to Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Java and Bali. Lives in primary rainforests and woodlands from sea level to 400 meters.

CITES : Not listed
Status : The species’ status hasn’t been assessed but it is dependant on forests in many parts of its range which makes it vulnerable to habitat loss.
