Identification
Adults can reach a body length of nearly 4 cm with antennae being 3 cm long. Long grey abdomen with granulous brown elytra. Presence of a white spot on each elytra and two red spots near head. Very long and segmented antenna.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South East Asia, from peninsular Thailand to Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra. Lives in humid and dry forests, woodlands, plantations and gardens.

CITES : Not listed
Status : The species status hasn’t been assessed. It is supposed to be at least locally common despite collection for insect trade (live or naturalized).
