Identification
Adults can grow to 8 cm in length with males being much larger than females and showing three small horn-like projections on rostrum. Coloration bright emerald green with rows of beige spots on elytra and beige lines on cephalothorax.

Range and habitat
This subspecies occurs in Central Africa, from Gabon and DR Congo to Uganda. Species also found in Ivory Coast and Ghana. Lives in tropical forests and dense humid woodlands, plantations.

Status : The species’ status has yet to be assessed. It is still common but could be threatened by deforestation and habitat loss.
