Identification
This species grows to about 8 to 10 cm in length. Head, cephalothorax and abdomen black with clear eyes. Large black legs. Wings are longer than abdomen and retracted in a cylinder shape. Coloration black with beige mottling.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South East Asia. So far, it has only been recorded in Peninsular Malaysia, in the state of Perak. Lives in tropical primary and possibly secondary rainforests.

Status : The species hasn’t been listed by IUCN. Its population status and true range are poorly understood and so are the threats it could be facing.
