Identification
Females can reach 10 cm in body length, males are smaller. Body is covered with spines from head to abdomen and legs. Small round head. Coloration light to dark brown with green spots for females and green tinge for males.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to the Philippines and only occurs on the Island of Samar. Occurs in humid forests, woodlands and scrublands.

CITES : Not listed
Status : This species isn’t assessed but so far seems to remain fairly numerous despite its small range. Often collected for international trade.
