Identification
Females are very large and can grow to 15 cm in length. Females much larger than males with wider and more spiny body. Coloration lime green with small rounded wings. Males are smaller and mottled brown with less spines.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-East Asia, from south Thailand to Malaysia, Sumatra, north Borneo and Java. Lives in humid forests.

Status : The species’ status hasn’t been assessed. It seems to have a large range but the effects of overcollection and deforestation need to be studied.
