Identification
Adults can reach a total length of 45 cm. Triangular head with big eyes. Conspicuous rounded crest behind head, small crest on back. Males are bright green with blue and yellow blotches on flanks, females are duller with shorter crest.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South East Asia, on Sumatra, Java and their satellite Islands. Also on Pulau Tioman (Malaysia). Lives in humid tropical forests.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species could be vulnerable to over-collection for animal trade and habitat destruction.
