Trimeresurus macrops

Identification
The species grows to 75 cm in length. Almost no ridge between flattened snout and eyes. Large yellow eyes, fairly short triangular head. Bright green color. Males show white to bluish band below eyes and on lower flanks.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South-east Asia , from most of central and eastern Thailand to Cambodia and south Vietnam. Lives in montane and lowland forests, parks, suburban gardens and plantations.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is widespread and locally common in its very large range. It can adapt to a certain degree of habitat changes.
