Identification
The only member of its genus without blue coloration. Global color light brownish-olive with mustard-yellow tinge on head, wings and tail. Silvery bill. Appears featureless from afar.

Range and habitat
From east Nicaragua to Colombia, then east to Guianas and Brazil, south to central Bolivia and south Brazil. Found in wide variety of habitats, from forests to palm stands and clearings.

CITES : Not Listed
Status : The species has a huge range and remains mostly common to locally abundant. Readily uses man-modified and man-made habitats and very rarely caught for the trade.
