Identification
The species isn’t likely to grow much above 6 cm in length. Warty skin on back, large head with big eyes. Coloration mostly mottled beige-brown and quite variable. Dark markings in front and under eyes, and on lips. Clear band on back.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Philippines and occurs in southern Luzon, Polillo, Catanduanes, Tablas, Romblon, Marinduque, Cebu, Negros and Panay. Lives in lowland and mountain humid forests and cultivated areas, to 1500 m.

Status : The species seems to remain common in suitable areas. It probably suffers from habitat loss locally.
