Identification
Adults can reach a length of 10 cm. Females are larger than males. Bright and large golden-yellow eyes. Coloration is bright green to turquoise green with scattered white spots on back. White belly. Toes are bright orange.

Range and habitat
The species is endemic to Mexico and occurs from southern Sonora to the Pacific coast of the country, south to Oaxaca. Mostly found in dry areas, including deciduous forests, up to 1000 meters.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Appendix II
Status : The species remains locally common within its range but is vulnerable to increasing transformation of its habitat. Occurs in protected areas.
