Identification
The species can grow to 5 cm in length, females being larger than males. Hind legs outside margins adorned with fringes of skin. Dorsal skin with rough appearance, mottled green and brown, becoming clearer on belly. Large eyes.

Range and habitat
The species’ range is poorly understood. It is possibly endemic to Philippines, occurring on Luzon, Polillo, Leyte, Negros, Bohol, Mindanao and Basilan. Lives in tropical rainforests and shrublands, in lowlands and lower mountains.

Status : The species’ status is poorly understood. It seems to remain locally common but its range is fragmented because of habitat loss.
