Notes : No subspecies known. Sometimes placed in genus Nyctixalus.

Identification
Adults can reach up to 3.8 cm in length. Long triangular snout, dark eyes. Ground coloration is bright orange to light brown with white to light yellow dots all over body and limbs. Belly is cream colored to clear orange.

Range and habitat
The species is found in South-east Asia, from south Thailand and Malaysia to Palawan, Borneo, Sumatra and Singapore. Lives in primary and secondary forests, in lower canopy and shrubs.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is dependant on undisturbed forest which makes it very vulnerable to habitat loss and deforestation within its whole range.
