Identification
Females are bigger than males, reaching 10 cm in length, males are smaller with 6.8 cm. Long slender leg. Body bright green with brown lines on sides and brown crossbars on legs. Color variation (amount of brown and green) important.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in South East Asia, from Peninsular Thailand to Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and Java. Lives around hill boulder streams with primary and old secondary rainforests.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not Listed
Status : So far, the species seems to remain safe but it could be declining because of water pollution and disappearance of primary rainforests.
