Identification
Body length of 61 cm, tail length of 69 cm, weight of 2,3 kg. This subspecies has bright rufous-orange-brown coat to chestnut-rufous. Its muzzle is white and its tail darker than body. Other subspecies darker and more grizzled.

Range and habitat
Subspecies endemic to Vietnam. The species occurs in India, Sri Lanka and from Central China to south Thailand. Lives in subtropical forests, including forest edges and fragments, up to 2000 m.

Status : The species has a large range and isn’t facing any important threats at this time. No significant declines have been noted so far.
