Identification
Adults can reach a cephalothorax length of 5 cm. Eye peduncles are creamy-white, claws relatively small and hairy. Cephalothorax, legs and claws are dark green to olive-green with yellow vertical stripes and clear joints.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in the Indo-Pacific area, from the Red Sea and east Africa to western Pacific ocean, north to south Japan, south to north Australia. Lives in most coral reef areas at shallow depths.

Status : This species has a large range and is very adaptable in its habitat choices and water parameter tolerance. Not threatened at this time.
