Identification
The species can grow to 3.5 cm in length, rarely more. Rostrum slightly decurved. Coloration variable, from greenish to beige with white spots to translucent white with black comma-shaped spots on bottom of flanks.

Range and habitat
This species occurs in South East Asia, from Philippines to central Indonesia, east to New Caledonia and Samoa. Lives in fast-flowing rivers and streams, both in upland and lowland areas.

IUCN RED LIST : LEAST CONCERN
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species has a large range and can be vulnerable to loss of habitat. It is now locally protected.
