Identification
Round-body tomato-shaped anemone reaching a height of 10 cm and a diameter of nearly 10 cm. Body coloration bright pink-red with white to greenish-yellow dots. Tentacles are short and dark red.

Range and habitat
Eastern Atlantic Ocean from Norway to western Africa, including the English Channel and Mediterranean Sea. Occurs in rocky areas in shallow water areas, down to 10 meters depth.

IUCN RED LIST : NOT LISTED
CITES : Not listed
Status : The species is still fairly common in its range where rocky coasts are relatively well preserved. Always occurs at low densities.
