Identification
Adult size is 2.5 cm height for a width of around 1 to 1.5 cm. Coloration always bright pink-red to bright red. Tentacles are transparent white with clubbed tips.

Range and habitat
North-east Pacific from south Alaska to California. Found on rocky bottoms or on rocky cliffs and in caves, away from bright lights and with good water current, at depth between 0.5 and 30 meters.

Status : The species hasn’t been assessed and is locally very common to the point of covering entire areas.
