Identification
Adult size is 1.5 cm height for a width up to 1.5 cm. Three rows of very small tentacles with rounded white tips, showing slight granulous aspect and contrasting with body color. Body color highly variable, from green to pink or red.

Range and habitat
The species occurs in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, from Scotland to Canary Islands. It is also locally found in Mediterranean Sea. Lives around rocky bottoms or cliffs and in caves, away from bright light, to 100 meters.

Status : The species is locally very common to the point of covering entire areas, often by cloning itself.
